Waterproof Mattress Contenda HPC King Single. A quality triple layered foam mattress for high level pressure care support and comfort. Friction reducing low shear to provide relief and minimise the risk of pressure sores. Fitted with a premium 4 way stretch cover. May be used in home care, aged care and palliative care environments.
Features
Triple layered core with optimal ventilation for improved air circulation and temperature stability.
Top layer is manufactured with visco-elastic foam providing the user with a low shear surface for reduced friction.
Inner layer of core is zoned to provide maximum comfort and support whilst user repositioning.
Base layer of mattress is firm for added stability and to reduce the occurrence of bottoming whilst transferring or in an inclined position.
Heel section is designed with a gentle slope for improved pressure distribution away from the heels to the calf area.
Strengthened mattress sides provide additional lateral support and stability during transfers.
Side hinge points to allow smooth movement into various positions when used with a folding or hospital style bed.
Anti-microbial treated for optimal hygiene and durability.
Mattress complies with EPUAP, NPUAP & PPPIA comfort and quality guidelines.
Foam conforms to AS/NZS 4088.1 (Int):1993 and FMVSS302 & SAE T2002.
Includes 4 way stretch waterproof cover.
Cover is manufactured with a vapour permeable upper layer for breathability and skin protection, and lower barrier layer to protect inner foam from fluids and assist carer with easier cleaning.
Cover complies with infection control requirements with high frequency sealed seams and durable reinforced stitching at seam stress points.
Protection flap over zipper for additional protection from moisture or infection.
Fire retardant cover for added safety.
Cleaner friendly surface, may to be wiped clean with disinfection cleaning agents up to 10000ppm.
